Professional Playing Career

Rodrigo had a distinguished career playing for some of Brazil’s biggest clubs, including Grêmio, Internacional, Vitória, Vasco da Gama, Goiás, and São Paulo, consistently proving himself as a key player in every squad. His standout performances at São Paulo and Goiás earned him the prestigious Bola de Prata award, recognizing him as one of the top players in the Brazilian Championship.

In 2005, Rodrigo took his career to the international stage, signing with Dynamo Kyiv in Ukraine, where he won the Ukrainian Premier League title (2006-2007). His experience in high-level European football expanded his strategic vision and tactical awareness, further elevating his skills as a player.

Throughout his career, Rodrigo also won multiple national and state championships, solidifying his reputation as one of the most consistent and respected defenders in the game.

Transition to Coaching

After retiring from professional play, Rodrigo turned his passion for soccer into a mission: developing and mentoring the next generation of athletes. His extensive experience on the field and deep tactical understanding are now dedicated to shaping young players, both technically and mentally.

As one of the founders of FORRCE Soccer Academy in Winter Garden, Florida, Rodrigo combines his global experience and commitment to excellence to prepare aspiring athletes for success—both on and off the field.
